Fifth Annual Art and Garden Gala
A Magical Afternoon of Art, Beauty, Deliciousness and Mysterious Entertainment

The Laguna Foundation’s annual Art and Garden Gala is a unique and magical event held at the beautiful Vine Hill House 
in Sonoma County.
A luxurious garden party which has grown in popularity each year since 2004, the Gala combines intriguing and unusual live performances with superlative local food and wine, and features both live and silent auctions of original art, premium wine, and adventurous experiences.
The primary attraction of the Gala will be a silent auction of original fine and wearable artworks inspired by themes and landscapes of Sonoma County’s richest wildlife area, the Laguna de Santa Rosa. Many of Sonoma County’s most prominent and well-recognized artists contribute work created especially for the Gala, including paintings, incaustics, photography, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics and crafts. Many of the contributing artists will be in attendance at the Gala to discuss their work and provide contact information for interested patrons. Fine lots of wine from the Laguna watershed will also be available for bidding at the silent auction.
This year, we have added a live auction of a small number of “experience packages”, unique adventures to be remembered for a lifetime. All catering, wine service and entertainment is provided by local vendors.
Entertainment at the Gala feature fascinating and unusual strolling performers, including circus acts by the Mystic Family Circus and works of illusion by Ken Garr, owner of The Magic Shop in downtown Santa Rosa.
Sumptuous catering will be provided by celebrated local restaurateur Susan Borowicz of Trends Catering, with desserts by Glenn and Franny Minervini-Zick (Zix) and Denise Cadman. Food is paired with premium local wines grown and crafted at wineries of the Laguna watershed.
